Not particularly fashion, but an idea of beauty. I feel that things happen for a reason and open up new opportunities. A woman is never sexier than when she is comfortable in her clothes. Never in my wildest dreams did I entertain the idea that I would become a fashion designer. Dressing up. People just don&#8217;t do it anymore. We have to change that.<\/p>\n<p>I want people to be afraid of the women I dress. Fashions fade, style is eternal. I think it&#8217;s the responsibility of a designer to try to break rules and barriers. Women are women, and hurray for that. Nostalgia is a very complicated subject for me. I&#8217;m attracted by nostalgia but I refuse it intellectually.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I didn&#039;t like the &#039;80s at all; it was a vulgar moment of fashion. You cannot be creative with people around you. If you cut a painter&#039;s hands off, he&#039;d still feel the urge to pick up a brush. An evening dress that reveals a woman&#039;s ankles while walking is the most disgusting thing I have ever seen. I&#039;ve always tried to push myself technically and to push myself visually.
